It has been a minute....

Nomaste! I hope that everyone had a great Memorial Day Weekend.  Things have been well with me.  Work has been busy and will continue to be that way all summer.  I just returned from St. Thomas yesterday.  My best friend, Ali, got married.  It was an honor to be a groomsman in his wedding.  Congratulations to the newlyweds.  You two deserve each other.  The wedding was beautiful and you all really did make everyone that came feel very special and blessed.

Special shout out to TJ (the slazman).  Hey, brother.  Good luck on your new surroundings.  I know that you will do well because you are a survivor.  You are a good person, hard worker, determined individual, and a real person with a big heart.  I hope that I get to see you soon.

Hello to all of my peeps.  Happy New Year to the Xanga world.  This is my first post of 2007.  A lot has happened since my last post , which was right before my birthday last year.

First and foremost, the Lord continues to bless me.  I am so grateful for God's continued blessings.  The biggest change in my life has been my relocation to Maryland in November.   I moved down there to take a job with a beer company.  Yes, I have re-entered corporate america.  It has been three years since I have been in the rat race, but it is a beautiful thing to receive steady checks via direct deposit at the end of the month.    I love my new job and I am now a beer drinker.  Can you believe that?  Yes, drinking beer and buying it for people at bars is part of my job. 

Thanks to all of my xanga peeps for all of the love, support, and well wishes.  It means a lot!  Special shout outs to Katana (aka Super Kat), Slazman (aka Booty Dust), Raydilla (aka Brother Ray), MzHaydeeAllDat (aka Lil Mama Poet), and Wuhbam (aka The Professor).

Hello Xangaworld!..It has been a minute since I last posted something....Well, I thought that it was time since a lot is going on in my world..I got a job offer last week...It is time to re-enter Corporate America...I will be relocating to Baltimore...It is a Sales/Marketing job...Yes, I am excited and looking forward to the new chapters in my life and my professional career...Shout out to the Professor..a.k.a. Joe...Thanks for lunch yesterday.  It was nice catching up with you...Good luck with everything, my brother...Another shout out to TJ...Hey, brother...make that move..Don't be afraid..You could probably use the change at this point in your life...It's all good...GOD is good!..All Day and every day.  Thank you, Lord!  Talk to you all later...Peace and blessing with love!

Whew!  I have been riding the roller coaster of life....However, through the grace of God, I am doing well....Things are so busy!  I will tell you all about it .....In summary, I have a second job (part-time), I plan to re-enter corporate america (there are interviews happening and things look good), my parents are celebrating their 40th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday (guess who's throwing them a surprise party--they have no idea), making some moves financially to remove some personal debt and help the family business, and I am looking forward to my annual vacation in the Martha's Vineyard at the end of the month.....More details and stories to come later.    

By the way, Pharrell's new album is hot!  Ray, hollar at your boy!  Happy Anniversary to Ray and Melinda....I know it's a month late, but I have not been posting a lot over the past few months.

WOW!....I have not posted in a couple of months...There has been a lot going on in my life, personally, professionally, socially, spiritually.  It takes time motivation, and the willingness to share in order to get something posted here.  I wanted to post a few times, but all of the things were not in line for me to execute...However, I want to Thank the Lord for his Almighty Grace and allowing me to continue living this life...Amen! 

Since my last post, I have successfully delivered a major project to my client.  That project was a labor of love and it will lead to some bigger things for our company.  Last month, I was in Las Vegas doing a liquor trade convention.  That was a work and a lot of hours, but it was also a big success.  All of the corporate sponsors were happy along with the organization's board members.

My good friend that I grew up with got married last month .  The wedding was beautiful  and the reception was at Tavern on The Green, where we had a lot fun. Another friend of mine that I also grew up with is getting married on Saturday.  This will be another fabulous wedding.

I have a business trip on Thursday morning.  There are two events that I have to attend for two of my clients.  I have to return home on the first flight out on Saturday morning in order to get back in time for the wedding.

Thanks to Peter for inviting us to play golf on Sunday.  He treated us to a round of golf up at a course in North Jersey.  It was me, Ali, Bob, and Peter playing golf and enjoying the beautiful day.  We had a really good time out there on the links.  It was my second time playing 18 holes this year.  I would have played more , but I have been rehabing my shoulder since my accident in February.  Things are well with the shoulder and I am about 95 %.

Special shout out to my ohana in Hawaii....Carol, Lani, Kat, TJ, Gil, Joy, Domi, Mark, Kian, Leo, and my homeboy, Dr. Lee, who is out there on temporary assignment until August.  I miss you all, especially my heavenly flower.  Smile! :)   Carol--congrats on getting into your program..best of luck to you......Kat--good luck on the students this year...be thankful that you have a job and know that you have been making a difference in all of your students' lives.......TJ--stop working so much and start doing more things for yourself...You are one of the hardest working guys that I know.

More shout outs to the Jersey crew....Congrats to Joe on his graduation..I know you worked hard during your program....Good luck on your boards!...Shout out to Ray and Melinda....Mel--good luck on your Bar Exam......Will and Wayne--it has been a while....we need to hang out and catch up....Frank--I am sorry that I was unable to make your cookout...I had a business meeting on Saturday night, I had been running around all day on Saturday...hope to catch up with you soon...Jaquanda--It has been too long since we have seen each other...I miss my baby's momma...We have to go to Maroons for dinner soon...How about next week?..Hollar.......Dan and Arlene--I have not seen you all since last year at Ray and Melinda's wedding....Arlene, let's catch up......Final shout out to Haydee--Congrats on your new baby boy!  Much love to everyone!  Peace and blessings!
